I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since Anna + Jake got married (maybe I’ll get the Blog caught up over the winter). This was truly one of my favorite weddings to be a part of. When we first talked to Anna and Jake, we bonded over traveling and hiking, having an older hound dog, and being on the same page about what they wanted their day and their photos to be like.

When the wedding day came along and I finally met Anna, her family and her dog at her parent’s home. She’s the kind of person that makes you feel like you had known each other for years, and I just have to say I love her mom. At the same time Scott was having a great time meeting Jake, his brother, nephews and mom while they were getting ready. You’ll see the adorable ring bearers with their bow ties and suspenders when you scroll down. They had a heartfelt ceremony on the steps of The Peter Shields Inn. I still remember a lot of it, my eyes got foggy a few times and I also laughed a bunch of times. That’s how the whole day felt like. Lots of love, lots of laughter, my favorite something blue, photos on the beach, oh and the food was amazing.
