Elegant, multicultural wedding at The Bond — York, PA

This day was four years in the making, and I feel it’s fair to say it was worth the wait.

I met Natasha and A-Mac through Natasha’s mother, who’s an amazing woman. I photographed their engagement at Regents Glen, also in York and helped them design and get their save the dates ready, but some time after plans started to change. Part of those new plans meant we got to photograph their home elopement, and sit down for dinner with them and the few people present. They really are open arms kind of people.

After that, it was time to celebrate with as many of their loved ones as possible. The wait kept getting longer, but on a sunny day in May, it finally happened.

I met Natasha at her mom’s house, surrounded by her family and closest friends. At the same time, Scott met A-Mac and some of his loved ones at the church. They had a lovely ceremony at Saint Mary’s Church of the Immaculate Conception. After that we stoped at the Country Club for a few photos with the greenery that Natasha’s heart wanted, and then we headed to the gorgeous reception at The Bond Events. Natasha’s face when she walked in says it all. The Planned Perfection Team made everything come together perfectly. There was prettiness everywhere, from the detailed cake inspired by Natasha’s dress, to the beautiful flower arrangements decorating the space. But it wasn’t just a pretty day, it was also a lot of fun. They are happy, kind humans surrounded by a amazing people. Some of them I was lucky and very happy to get to see again after meeting them during their small ceremony. I know having two weddings was never their plan, but it let me get to know them even more than I would have in two years, and I am very thankful for that.

Natasha & A-Mac, I truly wish you all the happiness in the world, and it gives me so much joy to see where you are now.
