Karla + Frank | Carroll County Farm Museum Wedding

Karla and Frank’s wedding was the cutest. It took place at Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, MD. It is a lovely place, with green outdoor spaces, a cozy barn, and some farm animals that made me happy.

The forecast  called for umbrella’s, but fortunately, the rain held off until we were all indoors for the reception.

This is Karla’s mom tying down the rings to the pillow that her own parents had at their wedding, which was a beautiful detail.

The ceremony took place in this little fenced area. Frank decorated the gazebo himself.

Fun fact (or terrifying, depending on who you ask): Frank’s wedding band fell from the pillow into one of the cracks on the floor. So the first time they exchanged the rings, they borrowed a ring, while the best kind of friends were looking for the real thing under the gazebo. So Karla and Frank were not only smiling because it was the happiest day, but also because they wanted something weird to happen at their wedding, and it did! Scroll all the way down for a pic of the search.

Towards the end of the night, I caught Karla’s mom looking inside at her daughter dancing with the new husband, among the rest of the happy people, and it put a big smile on my face. It really was a beautiful day.
