This was the perfect Harrisburg engagement session. We had fun walking around the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex looking for pretty light and interesting spots with Rachel and Wyatt, and her response to seeing the photos made me the happiest.

When Rachel first reached out, she mentioned that everybody looked comfortable in our portfolio photos, which is the best thing you can tell me. It’s our job to make you feel at ease, she said what most of our clients say (and probably others think). that she was awkward in front of the camera and they would definitely need help with posing. If you are reading this and you are thinking about having your photos taken, know that feeling this way is totally normal. And also, I totally know the feeling.

So we planned their session fairly quickly because they are getting married in Austin, TX soon. We decided on the Capitol for the dressier part of the session. I think its a perfect neutral canvas, with some enough plants to soften it. I knew they wanted the send their Save the Dates soon, so I got them finished faster for them. Now that they’ve seen them, I could not wait to share them!
