This is Joy + Zac, part two. Part one took place in the middle of a snow storm, and I loved it, but I’m definitely happy they got lots of sunshine for this one. I always tell people the best place for their engagement photos is one that’s familiar to them, where they feel comfortable. So a home session is the best form of that, and that’s where we started. It’s their first home together, and I love that we got to document it. One of the things I love about York is the old buildings and houses, they have so much more character, just like theirs. From there we went for a walk to downtown York. We stopped at Cherry Lane, where they will be tying the knot later this year (and I cannot wait!). I love that spot this time of the year. Finally we walked to the Holy Hound to take a few more photos, and stayed there after the cameras were off, talking over snacks and beers (I could eat that Poutine every single day).
Thank you guys again so much!
