Lisa and Jim found us because we photographed their friend’s wedding. A couple of the things they really liked were that we didn’t seem intrusive and took lots of candids, so I was excited that we were on the same page from the start. Then on our call, we talked about the Fleisher Art Memorial. They were so excited about it, and so I the more we talked about it. They put thought and time into the details that were important to them, like the venue, getting ready at The Guild House, a boutique, beautiful hotel, and celebrating surrounded by their favorite people, and only their favorite people.

Then the wedding day came. We met Lisa and her friends at the Guild House. They were all so nice and excited. Then Jim arrived to see Lisa, and after taking some photos at the hotel, we walked towards City Hall to get quintessential Philly wedding photo. And from there we met their immediate family at Fleisher Art Memorial, and got ready for their ceremony. It was officiated by two people who knew them well, which always makes it so much more heartfelt, and funny. They read vows that made me tear up both for sentimental reason and from laughter. That’s how the whole day felt really. I am so happy I got to be there with them.

Here’s some favorite photos of the day, including a handful of film images.
