I love Jackie and Bill. They are two of the most easygoing people I’ve photographed, and truly wanted to enjoy their wedding as much as possible. I first met them in person when we photographed their engagement session in Long Beach, NY. I think it’s fair to say that Bill was the least-excited-for-photos-person I’ve photographed when we said hi, but he made it. We walked passed where they had their first date, talked about beach towns, food, and ended up having a really nice time on their session. It made me super happy when Jackie showed me photos of the session hanging on their wall.
This time around we headed to Westbury Manor. Jackie described it to me, and I had looked for photos of other Westbury manor weddings online, but it was even prettier in person.
Bill was the first to arrive. He got ready with his best friend/officiant, and then Jackie got ready with her sister and her mom. Her wedding gown was perfect for her and for the venue, it was romantic, boho and beautiful, and the sleeves!
Once everybody was ready, we found a shaded spot for the first look and it was so them. Bill couldn’t stop smiling, and could not wait to see Jackie. From there on, it was all smiles and laughter all day, from the garden ceremony attended by their favorite people and their pup (scroll see the photos!), to the party after the early dinner. It was a very fun day, and I almost forgot to say, a daytime wedding!
