This was one of our last sessions of the year and I truly am so glad we were able to make it happen. We had that bright and dreamy fall light, and got to spent time walking around with Jackie, Bill and their adorable lab (look at her faaace). We had met over video, but it’s so nice to get to see people in person before their wedding when we can. I love that the photos feel like them. We walked to the beach while we talked, shared some laughs, got to see spots along the way that were meaningful to them, and finished by opening the bottle Jackie’s sister gifted them when they got engaged as the sun was going down. I think it went perfectly.

Next time we see them will be on a different side of Long Island, when they tie the knot in Westbury.

Fun? fact. This was one of those sessions where one was there to make the other happy, but not thrilled about the photos, and I’m happy to report it was not as painful as they expected and now they have their favorite photos of the day on the wall.

P.S. I highly recommend getting several doughnuts at Dough Hut if you find yourself in Long Beach.
