Park Slope engagement (some 35mm film) — Brooklyn, NY

Some things feel meant to be, this was one.

We stopped for lunch in Brooklyn on our way back from photographing one of my favorite engagement sessions ever in Montauk, NY. Scott wanted a pastrami sandwich but my heart needed pasta. I found a place called Aurora in Brooklyn, and ordered ravioli. While we waited for the food, I made a little video dreaming about how perfect it looked for a wedding. To be honest almost no one saw the reel, but the ravioli were amazing.

Then a few weeks later, I got an email about a wedding at a restaurant in Brooklyn. The restaurant was Aurora.

As I was writing this, I got a text message from Hannah about their sneak peek from their wedding Saturday (they are happy!). After having experienced and photographed a wedding in Aurora, I can say that yes, I loved it. To be fair the people and the team were a dream as well. I’m so thankful the universe sent H+B my way.

Here’s a little look at their engagement photos in Park Slope, Brooklyn, a mix of digital and 35mm film photographs.

P.S. You can see more 35mm film photographs here.
