I had always wanted to do an engagement session on a sunflower field, and I have to say, my photo dreams came true. This day was so much fun, and so pretty!
Scott and I hadn’t met Debbie and Kyle in person, since they live outside Philly. But we bonded through emails over our similar view on what’s important on wedding days, our love for dogs, and out excitement about their Cape May Courthouse wedding next year at the Abbie Holmes Estate. So when we finally met in person, it felt like it wasn’t the first time.
It was a beautiful, sunny, summer day. Scott and I crossed the bridge, drove through pretty farms and got to Hershey. We started the session at The Vineyard at Hershey. To be honest, it didn’t look as green as we hoped. But it’s still a cute location, with nice views, and Cooper enjoyed eating branches there. Plus, they have wine. After that, we headed to Mechanicsburg to do photos at Sophia’s at Walden‘s sunflower field.
I am so happy that we get to do this with Debbie and Kyle again next fall. This time it will be for their wedding, close to the shore in New Jersey, and with Cooper included!
Look at all these flowers!
Cooper wasn’t a fan of the sign that they got for him, but we managed to get the photo before we chewed it up!
