Joy + Zac | Cherry Lane & DreamWrights Center Wedding

I loved this wedding so much, probably because we love Joy and Zac. From our first meeting, were we mostly talked about parks, camping, and cats and dogs, the snow storm engagement photos, our York city session, I’ve had a blast photographing them. They are genuine people, who I can talk to on an on, and they are a beautiful couple. It an honor I’ve gotten to document this part of your journey together, and such a gift to become friends with them.

So here it is, their beautiful wedding day, starting at their home, which always makes me happy.

Then off to Farquhar for their first look we went.

Saving the day learning how to do a bow tie knot on the spot with help from YouTube.

This flowers were not only beautiful, but smelled amazing. There were herbs in Joy’s bouquet, and herbs were also tossed down the aisle by the flower lady at the beginning of the ceremony. Brilliant.

Then we headed downtown for their Cherry Lane ceremony, officiated by the Mayor Michael Helfrich. There, Joy’s dad saw her dressed in white for the first time.

I had always wanted to photograph a wedding here, and it was as lovely as I thought it would be.

Finally, we moved on to DreamWrights Center for Community Arts for their wedding reception. I had never been there, and I think it is a great place for small wedding receptions. It is really cute, and everybody there was super nice and helpful.

Can’t talk about this wedding and not mention the band. They are so talented, and kept everybody dancing and having a great time all night. Scott and I might have joined for a bit when we were done working.
